Riccardo Santopietro

Riccardo Santopietro has a wealth of experience in engineering and operations. Riccardo began their career in 2002 as a Consultant in Validation for DSM Biologics. In 2003, they were a Consultant in Validation for Draxis Pharma. From 2002 to 2005, they were the President of Protoval Validation Services Inc., where they managed validation projects for over 10 clients in the Montreal area. In 2005, they were the Engineering and Plant Manager for Triosyn Research, where they supervised the Engineering and Maintenance department and managed equipment and prototype design, installation and validation projects. In 2009, they were a Project Engineer for Pharmascience Inc. From 2010 to 2012, they were a Lyophilization Engineer and Validation Engineer for Jubilant HollisterStier Contract Manufacturing. From 2012 to 2015, they were an Engineering Supervisor for Jubilant HollisterStier Contract Manufacturing & Services. From 2015 to 2019, they were a Medical Device Development Engineer and Systems Engineer for Jubilant DraxImage. In 2020, they were a NRC N-95 Testing Team Member for Face Mask Testing Consultant, where they installed, commissioned and qualified two TSI 8130A Filter Testers and trained and coached testing staff on the operation and the testing of respirators and other filtration media. Riccardo is currently the Vice President of Operations and Director of Engineering for Groupe PARIMA.

Riccardo Santopietro obtained a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from Concordia University between 1995 and 1999. In 2011, they completed a Certificate in Lean Project Leader from McGill University. Riccardo also attended Laurier Macdonald.
