Vincent Poudevigne has had a diverse range of work experience. Vincent started their career as a Chargé d'affaires secteur agro-alimentaire at Crédit Lyonnais Belgium in 1988. Vincent then moved on to SGS Agri France SAS in 1990, where they served as an Assistant de Direction and gained experience in commercial services. In 1993, Poudevigne joined SGS Ukraine as an Agri Manager, where they established the Agricultural Division and managed teams across three offices.

Poudevigne's most significant role was with SGS, where they held various positions over the years. Vincent served as the President and General Manager of SGS's Agricultural Division in France, overseeing a budget of Euro 13 million per year and managing a team of 150 people. Vincent also worked as the Agri Regional Development Business Manager for SGS in Europe, coordinating commercial policies in the EU 15. Additionally, they served as a Key Account Manager for major French and international clients in the trading and agro-industrial sectors. Poudevigne was involved in digitization projects, including SGS Digitr@de, where they acted as the project manager for the dematerialization of certificates.

In 2007, Poudevigne joined Groupe Sica Atlantique, where they were appointed as the Deputy CEO and later promoted to CEO. Groupe Sica Atlantique specializes in global port logistics solutions for solid and liquid bulk goods, primarily in the agricultural and agro-industrial sectors. Poudevigne played a crucial role in the company's operations, including port handling, shipping agency, maritime charter brokerage, as well as road and rail logistics. Vincent successfully managed large volumes of goods, with nearly 4 million tonnes being transited annually through the port of La Rochelle-Pallice.

Vincent Poudevigne completed their education in two stages. In 1985, they enrolled in Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Agronomie Montpellier, where they pursued a degree in Ingenieur Agronome. The field of study during this period is not mentioned. Vincent continued their education from 1987 to 1988, studying at Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Agronomie Montpellier/INA Paris-Grignon. During this time, they specialized in Industrial Agro-Food and obtained a degree in Ingenieur Agronome.
