Sarah Mitus

Vp/director, Social Strategy at GroupeConnect

Sarah Mitus has a strong background in social strategy and digital marketing. Sarah started their career at Overdrive Interactive as a Social Media Specialist from September 2011 to June 2013. Sarah then worked at Edelman as a Digital Account Executive and later as a Digital Senior Account Executive from June 2013 to May 2016. At Edelman, they worked on campaigns for well-known clients such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. In 2016, they joined InkHouse Media + Marketing as a Digital Strategist, overseeing all digital work and creating strategies for clients. Sarah then moved to Digitas North America in 2017, where they held roles such as Manager, Social Media Strategy and Associate Director, Social Strategy. Sarah also co-led Women @ Digitas on a national level and won the 2020 Boston office Heart of the Company award. Currently, Sarah is working at GroupeConnect as VP/Director, Social Strategy, where they co-lead the Social Strategy team focused on Bank of America's Consumer line of business.

Sarah Mitus holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing & Management from Villanova University. In 2019, they completed a program called altMBA. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Snapchat Advertising Core Competencies from Snap Inc. in September 2019.
