Juan Bueno Gayo

Juan Bueno Gayo has extensive work experience in the wind energy industry. Juan started their career in 1997 as a Structures Engineer at Ingeciber, where they focused on structural calculations and wind turbine certification. Juan then joined Gamesa as an R&D Engineer in 1999, working on wind turbine development. In 2000, they joined GE and worked as an R&D Engineer on the design and monitoring of wind turbines. Juan returned to Gamesa in 2002 and held various roles, including Loads and Dynamics Section Leader and Chief Engineer for the GAMESA 8MW Offshore Platform. Juan also served as the Technical Director for wind energy research programs such as RELIAWIND and WINDLIDER. Since 2013, Juan has been working as a Freelance Wind Turbine Systems Engineer. Juan is currently the Wind and Solar PV Energy Systems Business Unit Director at Empresarios Agrupados.

Juan Bueno Gayo earned a Mining Engineer degree from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 1991 to 1998. Juan also completed an Executive MBA from the IE Business School from 2008 to 2009.
