Krystal Persaud

Krystal Persaud is a notable toy designer currently working at Spin Master, focusing on future product strategy since January 2024. As a co-founder and advisor at Wildgrid, Krystal leads a course on home electrification, renewable energy, and climate tech while having successfully launched Wildgrid and secured $750K in pre-seed funding. Krystal's commitment to sustainable energy solutions has earned recognition as one of the "Grist50" climate leaders in 2023. Additionally, Krystal founded Grouphug, which creates stylish solar panels, and has held various teaching roles at prestigious institutions, including the School of Visual Arts and Parsons School of Design. Previous experience also includes roles at Solar United Neighbors and participation in the NYC Media Lab's entrepreneurship program. Krystal holds a B.S. in Industrial Design from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
