Leah Hamilton

Leah Hamilton has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Leah started their career at Kenton County Airport Board, where they worked as a Human Resources Intern and later as a Special Project Coordinator. Leah then joined East Indiana Treatment Center as an Addictions Counselor, providing therapy to patients with chemical dependency. In 2016, Leah moved on to Groups Recover Together, where they held multiple roles including Intake Specialist, Intake Counselor Supervisor, and most recently, Director of Operations. In their current role, Leah oversees department operations, ensures compliance with regulations, leads hiring and onboarding, supports professional development, and handles day-to-day operational challenges. Leah's work experience showcases their expertise in clinical practices, team leadership, problem-solving, and effective communication.

Leah Hamilton earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with an area of concentration in Psychology from Northern Kentucky University between 2010 and 2014. Prior to that, they attended Rising Sun High School from 2006 to 2010. Leah also holds additional certifications, including Certified Crisis Intervention Specialist from The American Institute of Health Care Professionals, Inc. obtained in August 2018, and CPR & AED certifications from the American Red Cross and American Heart Association.
