Reza Mahdavi has extensive experience in the technology industry. Reza began their career in 1984 as the Director of Systems Test and Integration at CLSI. In 1989, they joined IBM as the North American Director of Indirect Channel Sales Operation. In 1994, they became the Vice President and General Manager of Cisco Systems, Inc. and in 2008, they were appointed President of Ipanema Technologies. In 2013, they became a Strategic Advisor to the CEO of Anevia, and in 2014, they were appointed Strategic Advisor to the CEO/COO of Actility. In 2015, they became a Strategic Advisor to the CEO of GroupVisual.io, and in 2016, they were appointed Senior Advisor at Cambridge Management Group, Inc. Most recently, in 2018, they founded and became the CEO of MyPlates, a platform that connects local food artisans with diners looking for a diverse array of home-cooked type food.
Reza Mahdavi attended Bridgewater State University from 1979 to 1983, where they earned an MSBS in Computer Science. In 2003, they attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
