Ignacio Garcia-Menocal has a strong background in finance and management. Ignacio started their career at Deloitte as a Manager from 1999 to 2005. Following that, they worked as the Director of Accounting at MasterCard in 2005 and then moved to Shula's Restaurants as the Vice President - Finance from 2006 to 2011. Ignacio then joined 50 Eggs as the Chief Financial Officer for three years before becoming the Chief Executive Officer at Grove Bay Hospitality Group in 2014, where they currently hold this position.
Ignacio Garcia-Menocal completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Florida, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. Ignacio further pursued their education and earned a Master's degree in Accounting from Florida International University for the academic year 1997 to 1998. In 1999, Ignacio obtained the certification of Certified Public Accountant. Later on, in 2012 to 2013, Ignacio enrolled at Cornell University and completed a certificate program in Foodservice Management.
