Parin Turakhia

Parin Turakhia is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and product management. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering and Product at Grow Indigo since April 2023, Parin previously co-founded a PropTech and Recommerce initiative from April 2022 to March 2023. At Grow Indigo Pvt. Ltd., from October 2020 to March 2022, Parin led the modernization of backend architecture, enhancing system performance and scalability. Prior to this, Parin spent a decade at BookMyShow, progressing from Software Developer to Sr Engineering Manager, where responsibilities included overseeing complex technology operations, mentoring teams, and leading significant projects such as the migration to NoSQL and the development of the BookMyShow mobile app. Parin holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, an Engineer's degree from NIIT Pune, and a Bachelor of Commerce with a focus on Computer Science from L S Raheja College of Arts and Commerce.
