Alberto Lucini Paioni

Alberto Lucini Paioni has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering and software development.

From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Software Developer at Net4market - CSAmed.

In 2018, they joined Growens and started as a Junior Data Modeling professional until May 2019.

From June 2019 to December 2020, Alberto held the role of Data Analyst at Growens.

In January 2021, they were promoted to the position of Senior Data Engineer at Growens. In this role, they introduced Apache Spark (with Scala) for batch and streaming ETL processes, implemented a data virtualization layer (Tibco Data Virtualization) for data federation and access, and collaborated with business people, software integrators, and data scientists in ensuring data availability for analysis. Alberto also worked on data governance, data cataloging, and data quality concepts.

Currently, Alberto holds the position of Technical Leader & Senior Data Engineer at Growens, starting from March 2022.

Alberto Lucini Paioni completed their education in the field of Ingegneria informatica (Computer Engineering) at the Politecnico di Milano. Alberto obtained their Bachelor's degree from the institution between 2008 and 2011, followed by a Master's degree from the same university between 2011 and 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Alberto has pursued various certifications to enhance their skills. Alberto completed "Advanced Data Science with IBM" from IBM on Coursera in February 2021. Prior to that, they obtained certifications in "Disaster Recovery & Replica e Alta Disponibilità con PostgreSQL" in February 2019, "Sviluppo / Sviluppo Avanzato PostgreSQL" in December 2018, and "Amministrazione Database PostgreSQL" in November 2018, all from 2ndQuadrant. Alberto also completed "The Ultimate Hands-On Hadoop - Tame your Big Data!" from Udemy in October 2017.
