Matthew Lurkins

Matthew Lurkins has a diverse work experience. Matthew started their career as an Assistant Attorney General at the Illinois Attorney General's Office in 2005 and worked there until 2008. Matthew then joined Heyl, Royster, Voelker & Allen as an Associate from 2008 to 2012. In 2012, Matthew joined GROWMARK, Inc. as a Senior Staff Attorney and served in that role until 2016. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as an Assistant General Counsel at GROWMARK before transitioning to the role of Executive Director of Acquisitions and Business Development from 2017 to 2019. Matthew then became the Executive Director of Grain Division at GROWMARK, overseeing multiple operations and member cooperatives until 2022. Currently, they are working at GROWMARK, Inc. as the Vice President, Grain and Strategic Relationship Lead.

Matthew Lurkins obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in 2002. Matthew then went on to pursue a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from the same university, which they completed in 2005.
