Chris Tirpak

Chris Tirpak is the current Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Growmotely. Prior to this, they were with Telstra for just over a year, where they held the position of VP/GM and Principal Technical Engineer - High Performance Software Engineering. Chris was responsible for leading the world’s premier telecommunications transformation from Siebel to Salesforce, which employed cloud-native integration and platform development to deliver pure end-to-end digital customer experiences. Chris also established the first Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team at Telstra during their time there.

Before Telstra, Chris was with EchoStar Corporation for five years as their Chief Technology Officer (CTO) & VP Systems Technology. And before that, they were a co-founder of OpenStack Systems from 2005 to 2007.

Chris Tirpak has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola University Maryland in Information Technology.

Some direct reports include Omolaja Abubakar - Back End Engineer, Katrina Calpito - Front End Engineer, and Claudiu Capraru - Flutter Developer. They are on a team with Rowland Okoli - UX & UI Designer, Cass Biyang - COO, and Lee Van Staden - Head of Account Management. Their manager is Sarah Hawley, CEO.
