Joi Paras

Joi Paras is currently the Community Growth Manager at Growmotely. Joi has also worked as a Growth Consultant, Creative Writer, Virtual Assistant, and Staff Editor. Joi has a strong background in customer service and project management.

Joi started their career as an Online English Teacher at IM School back in 2016. After a few months, they decided to move on to something that would allow their to utilize their writing skills more and took on a role as a Staff Editor at Book Reviewers Yellow Pages. This was a short-lived position, but it did give their the opportunity to learn more about the publishing industry.

In 2017, Joi began working as a Virtual Assistant for Supahands. This was a great fit for their as they enjoyed being able to work from home and help with various tasks such as lead generation, data entry, and project management. Joi even had the chance to do some virtual assistance and project management for an interior designer based in California.

Eventually, Joi landed their current role as Community Growth Manager at Growmotely where they are able to combine their customer service skills with their love of writing.

Joi Paras attended Sekolah Menengah Sri Mawar for their secondary education, and later attended the University of Batangas for their BS in Computer and Information Science and Systems and Software Engineering. Joi also has various certifications from LinkedIn Learning, International Open Academy, Cambridge Assessment English, Coursera, and others.

They are on a team with Maddie Musculescu - Community Growth Manager, Korede Edih - Community Guide, and Adriana Mendoza - Community Manager. Joi Paras reports to Theodora Gatin, Chief Marketing & Brand Officer.
