Amelia Tarpey

Amelia Tarpey is an experienced professional with a robust background in public relations and community engagement, particularly within agricultural and educational sectors. Currently serving as the Union Square Greenmarket Publicity Manager and Market Manager at GrowNYC since May 2016, Amelia has also held roles such as Social Media Manager at Pure Green and Farmers Market Worker at New Morning Farm. Previously, Amelia contributed to FoodCorps as a Service Member, focusing on developing garden and nutrition curricula for students. Additional experiences include assisting with costume design at the American Dance Festival, leading docent tours at The Wright Museum of Art, and serving as a Family Planning Intern at Boone County Health Department. Amelia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Society from Beloit College.
