Abraham Oviedo

Abraham Oviedo has a strong background in software quality assurance (QA) and project coordination. Abraham started their career in 2007 as a Software Developer at Yanber S.A. After that, they worked as a QA Tester and Project Coordinator at ACTRIGHT from 2012 to 2018 and at VerveMail from 2015 to 2021. In 2018, they joined Growth Acceleration Partners as a Web Content QA, where they were responsible for ensuring the quality of web content. Abraham quickly advanced to the role of Advanced QA Engineer, where they led the QA team and coordinated the release planning process. Currently, they hold the position of Senior QA Engineer - Team Lead at Growth Acceleration Partners. In this role, they provide guidance and mentorship to junior QAs, participates in refinement sessions, and acts as a product owner for internal applications. Abraham also collaborates with the development team and clients to establish priorities and remove blockers related to the backlog and user stories. Overall, Abraham has a wealth of experience in QA and project coordination, demonstrating strong leadership and technical skills.

Abraham Oviedo completed a Diplomatura in Informática Ingeniería at Universidad Estatal a Distancia de Costa Rica from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachillerato degree in Sociología at Universidad de Costa Rica UCR from 2011 to 2015. Abraham'searlier education includes a Técnico medio en programación degree in Informática from Colegio Técnico Don Bosco, which they completed from 2002 to 2007.

In terms of certifications, Abraham obtained a Certified Tester Foundation Level - Agile Tester certification from ISTQB® - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in 2022, and a Certified Tester Foundation Level certification from the same institution in 2019.
