Silvia Oconitrillo Rodríguez has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. Starting in 2007, they worked at avVenta Worldwide as a Web Developer, building web applications for TV cable companies and ensuring cross-browsing quality. Silvia then transitioned into a role as a QA Engineer, where they focused on test preparation, execution, and bug management for web applications.
In 2012, Silvia joined Growth Acceleration Partners, where they held multiple roles. As a Scrum Master, they guided teams in using Agile/Scrum practices and removing any impediments to project completion. Silvia then became a Product Owner Assistant, working on web projects related to the healthcare industry, fitness, and recreation. In this role, Silvia prioritized the product backlog, communicated the project vision to the team, and coordinated Agile events.
Throughout their work experience, Silvia demonstrated a strong focus on customer satisfaction, efficiency in delivery services, and effective project management.
Silvia Oconitrillo Rodríguez has a Master's degree in Project Management from the Universidad Latina de Costa Rica, which they obtained from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Universidad de Costa Rica UCR, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, Silvia has obtained various certifications, including Certified Agile Leadership I, Certified Scrum Product Owner, and ISTQB Certified Tester- ISTQB Foundation Level. Silvia has also completed programs and trainings in business strategy, women executive leadership, Scrum, and product ownership.
