Chanel Basson

Chanel Basson has a diverse work experience in the field of quantity surveying and project development. Chanel started their career as a Candidate Quantity Surveyor at Cost Critique - Quantity Surveyors in 2015, where they worked until September 2017. Chanel then joined FWJK Developments Durban in February 2018 as a Quantity Surveyor, and later advanced to the role of Professional Quantity Surveyor in May 2021. In 2023, they joined Growthpoint Properties as a Project Development Manager.

Chanel Basson has a strong educational background in the field of construction and project management. Chanel obtained a Master's degree in Project Management with a specialization in Construction Management from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria, which they pursued from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Quantity Surveying from the same university, focusing on Construction Economics, from 2012 to 2016.

In terms of their earlier education, Chanel attended Courtney House International School from 2009 to 2011. Before that, they studied at Pretoria High School for Girls from 2006 to 2008. No specific degrees or fields of study were mentioned for these two institutions.
