Xolani Hlatshwayo is the Group Legal Counsel at Growthpoint Properties since February 2019, bringing dynamic and innovative expertise to the role. Prior to this, Xolani was a Partner at Webber Wentzel from January 2004 to January 2019. Notable transactions involving Xolani include the disposal of AFGRI Limited's non-core businesses to Arysta LifeScience South Africa, the merger between Momentum Group Limited and Metropolitan Holdings Limited, the R650 million rights offer by Eqstra Holdings Limited, and the sale of Anglo American plc's zinc asset portfolio for US$1. Xolani holds both an LLB and LLM from the University of the Witwatersrand, completed between 2000 and 2006.
