Michael Langlais

Michael Langlais has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Michael is currently working as a Web Services Project Manager at GrowthZone AMS since October 2021. Prior to this, from March 2019 to October 2021, they served as a Technical Service Representative II at Landis+Gyr, where they provided support for customer organizations in dealing with hardware devices and software.

Before Landis+Gyr, Michael worked as a Web and Application Developer at Tech Bytes from November 2017 to March 2019, primarily focusing on custom website and application development in PHP. Michael also gained similar experience as a Web and Application Developer at Cold Snap Technology from October 2013 to November 2017. During this time, they introduced various improvements in website development practices, such as the use of CSS frameworks, HTML5/CSS3 specifications, mobile-friendly responsive design, version control processes, and encryption with HTTPS.

Michael also worked as a Web Developer at Wilderness Family Naturals from May 2015 to May 2017, where they successfully implemented a company e-commerce website redesign. Additionally, they interned as a Software Developer at Maverick Software Consulting from May 2014 to April 2015, mainly working on the public-facing e-commerce website of Menards. Furthermore, they gained teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at The College of St. Scholastica, where they assisted in various computer science courses and provided technical services support.

Their earliest recorded work experience was as an Analyzer at Sansio from November 2006 to September 2012. Overall, Michael has demonstrated their expertise in web and application development, technical support, project management, and teaching within the field of computer science.

Michael Langlais has a diverse education history. Michael attended The College of St. Scholastica from 2012 to 2015, where they studied Computer Science. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2006, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Superior.

In addition to their formal education, Michael has obtained several certifications to enhance their skillset. In 2017, they became a Front-End Web Developer and a Full-Stack Web Developer through LinkedIn. Michael also became a Junior WordPress Developer on the same platform. In the same year, they attained the Google Analytics Certified and Google AdWords Certified credentials through Google. Most recently, in 2021, they completed the Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure course through Coursera.
