Kaizaan Navdar

Kaizaan Navdar has held various roles in the finance industry since 2014. Kaizaan began their career at Deloitte India (Risk Advisory: Financial, Capital Management & Accounting) as an Audit Senior, where they were assigned to data mart establishment and transition to IFRS 9 & Ind AS 109 for a leading global automotive manufacturer. Kaizaan also reviewed hedge accounting framework, hedge effectiveness testing, and MTM valuation review for various companies. Kaizaan then moved on to Senior Associate, where they performed audit of bank treasury operations for one of the leading foreign banks in the country, covered derivatives, forex, money market, and compliance with the regulatory requirements and RBI guidelines applicable. Kaizaan also performed risk assessment on credit services & trade finance activities for one of the leading banks of India. Kaizaan's last role at Deloitte was as an Associate, where they performed concurrent audits and process reviews of the treasury operations for leading Primary Dealers across various leading banks. Kaizaan also performed Internal Financial Controls, which included testing various controls present on the figures that form a part of the Financial Statements. In 2017, Kaizaan began working at PwC Middle East as an Assistant Manager, Senior Associate, and Associate. In 2021, they moved on to Al-Futtaim as a Manager, and most recently in 2022, Kaizaan began working at Groyyo as a Finance Manager.

Kaizaan Navdar's education history includes attending Delhi Private School, Sharjah, UAE from 2007 to 2012, H.R. College of Commerce and Economics from 2012 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelors of Accountancy & Finance (BAF) from Mumbai University in June 2012, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Chartered Accountancy, and CFA Institute from 2015 to 2017, where they obtained CFA Level I & II in Equity, fixed income, economics, financial reporting and analysis, and derivatives. Kaizaan also attended a Summer School program at King's College London in 2013, where they studied International Political Economy. Kaizaan Navdar also holds additional certifications in Digital Acumen from PwC (obtained in April 2021) and CFA Level I & II from CFA Institute.
