Julia Orrico

Julia Orrico has a diverse and extensive work experience. Julia started their career in 2005 as a Trainee at Sinergia Estudos e Projetos Ltda. Julia then joined Shell Brazil E&P, where they worked as an Estagiária de Joint Venture and Estagiária de Risk and Assurance. After that, they worked as a Senior Consultant at envision strategy consultants, where they participated in various high-management consultancy projects in the transportation, construction, tourism, and financial sectors. Julia also supported financial consultancy projects, including IPO preparation and capital restructure processes. Additionally, they assisted in the internationalization processes of Portuguese companies to multiple countries. In 2012, Julia joined INVEPAR - Investimentos e Participações em Infra-estruturas, where they held the roles of Investor Relations Analyst and Investor Relations and M&A Specialist. Currently, they are working at GRU Airport - Aeroporto Internacional de São Paulo as the Head of Airline Business, a position they have held since August 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as an Airline Business Executive and as a Commercial Coordinator in the non-aviation unit at the same company.

Julia Orrico earned their Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro from 2003 to 2007. Subsequently, from 2007 to 2008, they pursued a postgraduate degree in Complex Transport Infrastructure Systems at Instituto Superior Técnico. During the same period, they also completed a Master's degree in Transportation as part of the MIT-Portugal Program.
