Asanka Rajakaruna

Asanka Rajakaruna has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. They most recently served as an Associate Lead - Application Support at Grubtech, starting in April 2023. Prior to that, Asanka worked as a Senior Application Engineer at Grubtech from October 2021 to April 2023. In this role, they were responsible for handling production SAAS-related issues in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and troubleshooting and resolving issues in the SAAS platform.

Before joining Grubtech, Asanka gained experience at Pearson, where they held various positions. From October 2019 to October 2021, they worked as an Operations Engineer, troubleshooting and maintaining Pearson Learning Technology Group (LTG) platforms and Pearson eCollege Learning Studio platforms. They also automated tasks using scripting languages like BASH, PHP, and Python, and developed web-based tools using Python, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, and JQuery.

Asanka's journey at Pearson began as a Service Desk Analyst, starting in August 2018 and ending in November 2019. They collaborated with development teams to resolve incidents within the Service Now ticketing system.

Prior to Pearson, Asanka worked at Mahindra Comviva as an Engineer from October 2013 to August 2018.

Asanka Rajakaruna's education history begins with their Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), which was completed at University College Dublin from 2010 to 2014. Following this, they pursued a Higher Diploma in Mastering Metrics (HL) in CIM (The Chartered Institute of Marketing), completing it in 2016.
