Karel de Smet

Karel De Smet is currently employed at GRUNDFOS as an Associate CSSC Application Engineer - IND and serves as a CSSC Frontline Representative for the Industry sector, beginning in March 2024. Karel also works as a Bijlesdocent for BijlesHuis since March 2025, specializing in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Natural Sciences. Previously, Karel worked at Advipro, where roles included Project Engineer and Packaging and Filling C&Q Engineer at Organon, as well as Technical Maintenance Supervisor for projects at ISS Belgium, notably overseeing projects for the Pfizer site in Puurs. Karel's experience includes being a Junior Project Engineer specializing in CSV and Lab Qualification for Janssen Pharmaceutica. Karel holds a Master's degree in Chemistry and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from KU Leuven, along with a degree from the LCIE Entrepreneurship Academy.
