Juha Pänkälä

Juha Pänkälä serves as the Lead HW Engineer at Grundium since November 2021, focusing on building hardware solutions for digital scanning microscopes. Prior to this role, Juha was a Senior Electronics Engineer at Varjo from April 2017 to November 2021, where responsibilities included hardware engineering for VR/MR headsets with human eye resolution. Juha's experience also encompasses work at Microsoft as a Display HW Architect, where contributions included display subsystem architecture and collaboration within the Mipi Alliance from May 2014 to August 2016. Earlier, at Nokia, Juha held positions as Display HW Architect and Senior Engineer, engaging in display architecture and system design, along with electrical testing and verification processes from January 2008 to April 2014. Juha's career commenced at HT Laser Oy as an ERP project employee in 2007. Academically, Juha holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences and is currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Machine Automation at Tampere University of Applied Sciences.
