Stefan Ivanavicius

Stefan Ivanavicius is an experienced medical affairs professional currently serving as Senior Director, Global Medical Affairs, Asset Lead at Grünenthal Group since July 2022. Prior roles include Director of International Medical Excellence at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and Director of International Medical Affairs at LivaNova. Stefan also held positions at Allergan, where responsibilities included leading field-based medical affairs across the UK and Ireland, and served as a Senior Medical Affairs Manager for the EAME region focused on neurology. Prior to that, roles included Medical Science Liaison at Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics and Grunenthal, as well as a Medical Writer at MediTech Media and Post-doctoral Scientist at AstraZeneca, where research centered on analgesia and drug metabolism. Stefan completed a PhD in Applied Neuroscience from the University of Bath and holds a BSc in Pharmacology from The University of Sheffield.
