Victor Barbosa

Victor Barbosa has lived and worked around the world, from Brazil to Chile, Germany, Portugal, Spain and the USA. His experience of such a diverse range of perspectives and cultures gives him a powerful ability to understand differences and find common ground. As our Head of Global Operations, he uses his skills to create value for our company and the patients we serve by simplifying, unifying and consolidating processes for the end to end process of  product supply.

Since joining Grünenthal in 2006, Victor has held roles with increasing responsibility within our supply chain and operations teams. He has been a central figure in integrating new products or factories after acquisitions, and is now leading the digital modernization of our production sites across our regions and shaping a culture of continuous improvement and excellence throughout the end to end value chain. As a global citizen with an international spirit, Victor is playing a key role in making sure we bring our life-changing treatments to patients in need – wherever they are in the world.
