Yevgeniy Brikman

Yevgeniy Brikman began their career in 2002 as a Student Webmaster at Cornell University, where they maintained and updated the Campus Life Homepage. In 2005, they were a Software Engineer (Summer Intern) at Thomson Financial, where they built performance testing tools for Autex. From 2006-2008, they worked as a Software Engineer at Cisco Systems, building VoIP contact center software. In 2008, they worked as a Software Engineer at TripAdvisor. From 2009-2014, they worked at LinkedIn, first as a Staff Software Engineer, then as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2014, they became an Author at O'Reilly Media, publishing two books. In 2015, they founded Atomic Squirrel, which later merged with Phoenix DevOps and became known as Gruntwork. Since 2016, Yevgeniy Brikman has been the Co-founder and CEO of Gruntwork, where they work to make it an order of magnitude easier to understand, develop, and deploy software.

Yevgeniy Brikman obtained their Diploma from Marblehead High School in 2002. Yevgeniy then attended Cornell University, where they earned a BS in Computer Science in 2005, followed by a Master of Engineering in Computer Science in 2006. In 2012, they also obtained a Functional Programming Principles in Scala certification from Coursera.
