André Ornelas

André Ornelas has extensive work experience in the field of IT operations and infrastructure management. André is currently serving as the Head of IT Operations at Grupo Ageas Portugal since February 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Operations and Infrastructure Manager at SIBS from May 2022 to February 2023, and at Multicert from February 2020 to May 2022. Before that, they gained valuable experience as a Senior System Engineer at Claranet Portugal from June 2016 to January 2020, and as a Senior Systems Engineer from August 2013 to June 2016. André also worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at CPCis from June 2008 to August 2013. André Ornelas began their career as a System Administrator at TCSI from August 2004 to April 2008. André also has experience working as a Senior Systems Technician at HI-Management from January 2004 to August 2004, and as a Systems Technician at Select from March 2001 to January 2004.

André Ornelas has a background in Computer Engineering from Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário Lisboa. André has not obtained a specific degree from this institution. In addition to their education, André has obtained several certifications. André is a Luna HSM Certified Engineer from Thales, which they obtained in December 2021. André is also a Sophos Certified Architect from Sophos, obtained in May 2020. Finally, André is a VMware Certified Professional 5.5 - Data Center Virtualization (VCP5-DCV) from VMware, obtained in March 2015.
