Eduardo Duque

Eduardo Duque currently serves as the Chief Risk Officer at Grupo Aval since March 2022 and is a Board Member at Banco de Occidente starting in June 2024. Prior experience includes a position at Citi as the Global Functions ICRM Head for Mexico and Latam from March 2019 to March 2022, overseeing Compliance Risk Management across multiple functions. Eduardo held various roles at Citi from 2005 to 2018, including Regional ICG Risk Manager for Colombia, Ecuador, and Venezuela, and Risk Manager Country Officer for Chile, Peru, and Bolivia. Earlier career highlights involve directorships with Waventure S.A. de C.V., and NM Rothschild & Sons in Mexico and Colombia, where significant corporate finance advisory work and high-profile transactions were conducted. Eduardo began his career at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell Group, contributing to the establishment of investment banking activities in the Andean region. Eduardo holds a Master's degree in Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidad de Los Andes.
