María Luisa Jorda Castro

María Luisa Jorda Castro is an independent board member at Grupo Bimbo. María previously served as Consejera Independiente y Presidente de la Comision de Auditoria y Riesgos at Banco Europeo de Finanzas from May 2018 to March 2019. Prior to that, they were with Instituto de Auditores Internos de España. Before that, they were with Orange España.

María has also held positions at ESADE Business & Law School and Tubos Reunidos Industrial S.L.U, where they served as Consejera Independiente y Vocal de la Comision de Auditoria from May 2015 to September 2016.

Previously, Jorda Castro was with Grupo Bimbo and Merlin Properties. María also served as Presidente de la Comision Auditoria (2011-julio 2015) y Consejera Independiente-Vocal C. Auditoria at Jazztel from November 2009 to February 2016.

María Luisa Jorda Castro has a Licenciada y examen de Grado in Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Inversión y Financiación from Centro de Estudios Financieros, and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Administración de Empresas from IE Business School. María is also a Perito Mercantil in Ciencias Empresariales from Escuela de Estudios Empresariales and has a PADDB +9 in Digital Business from The Valley Digital Business School. María has also completed the Programa Business Angels at DEUSTO Business School.
