Leonardo Miers

Leonardo Miers is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in operations and contract management within the engineering and construction sectors. Since April 2019, Leonardo has served as Chief Operating Officer and Head of Operations at Grupo BR MED. Prior to this role, Leonardo held a position as Contract Manager at Álvaro Aguiar Engenharia e Construções, where oversight was provided for the construction of metering stations for Petrobras. Additional experience includes business development for power generation at Benco Power LLC and significant tenure at UTC Engenharia, where responsibilities spanned contract management and compliance. Leonardo's educational background includes advanced degrees in Civil Engineering and Structural Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, an MBA in Project Management from FGV, and a postgraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Instituto Nacional de Telecomunicações.
