Sergio R.

Sergio R. has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Most recently, in 2022, they served as the Head of Health and Safety at Garnica. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2022, they worked as an HSE Manager at Samvardhana Motherson Reydel Companies. Sergio also held the position of Corporate HSE Manager (Responsable de PRL y MA) at ERSI Group from 2017 to 2022, where they were responsible for managing health, safety, and environmental aspects across multiple countries. Before this, Sergio had freelance roles as an Ingeniero de Proyectos/Ingeniero Industrial/Perito Judicial/Formador, providing engineering and technical expertise in various projects. Sergio also worked as a RESPONSABLE P.R.L. E INGENIERO INDUSTRIAL at GRUPO HERGONSA HOLDING 2008 S.L.U and as a Técnico de PRL y Coordinador de SyS at INTEGRAL DE PREVENCION 2000 S.L. Sergio's earlier experiences include working as a TECNICO DE P.R.L. at ISOLUX CORSAN, and as a SECRETARIO TÉCNICO at ASORCO (ASOCIACION DE ORGANISMOS DE CONTROL). Sergio began their career as an INGENIERO DE PROYECTOS y RESPONSABLE DE SEGURIDAD EN OBRA at Stolz España.

Sergio R. completed their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Mechanical Machines at Universidad de Valladolid from 1994 to 2003. Sergio then pursued a Master's degree in Industrial Maintenance from Universidad Católica de Ávila from 2013 to 2015.

In 2004 and 2005, Sergio attended Cerem Business School where they obtained a Master's degree in Superior Techniques in Occupational Risk Prevention (Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, and Psychosociology). Continuing their education, they completed a Master's degree in Quality and Environment at EFEM, Escuela de Formación Empresarial, from 2015 to 2016.

Sergio further specialized in Judicial Expertise in Occupational Risk Prevention at Universidad de Alcalá in 2012. Additionally, they obtained the qualification of Auditor in Occupational Risk Prevention Management Systems from Colegio Oficial de Psicólogos de Castilla y León.

Throughout their career, Sergio has also pursued various courses related to Industrial Engineering at COIIM Colegio Oficial de Ingenieros Industriales de Madrid starting in 2006. In 2008, they completed a course on Project Management at Universidad de Valladolid.

Most recently, in 2019, Sergio acquired the title of Lead Auditor in Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018) from SGS, specializing in Management Systems.
