Arelí Fares has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Arelí started their career in 1989 at American Express, where they held positions such as Supervisor de Cuentas Especiales, Ejecutivo de Entrenamiento, and Analista de Servicio a Clientes. In 1994, they joined Qualem Consultoría as a Consultor y Facilitador en Desarrollo Humano Organizacional, where they provided Human Resources consulting, organizational change programs, and skills training for managers and sales professionals. Since 2005, Arelí has been working at Grupo México as the Head of Talent and Culture.
Arelí Fares has a diverse education history in the field of Human Resources. Arelí obtained a CHRO Certificate from Wharton Executive Education. Arelí also holds a Lic. en Relaciones Industriales degree from Universidad Anáhuac. Additionally, they have pursued further education in various areas, including Leading Diversity and Inclusion from EGADE Business School del Tecnológico de Monterrey, Diplomado en Dirección de Recursos Humanos from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, and Leading Organizations and Change from MIT Sloan School of Management. Furthermore, they have obtained several additional certifications related to leadership development and corporate governance from Emeritus.
