Marcos Arroyo Borbujo

Marcos Arroyo Borbujo has a strong background in finance and corporate finance. Marcos has held various roles with increasing responsibility throughout their career. Marcos started their career as a Deputy Director at Colegio Mayor Elías Ahúja, where they were responsible for accounting tasks, budgeting, and staff recruitment. Marcos then worked as an Audit Analyst II at Deloitte, where they gained experience in auditing and worked on projects for clients such as El Corte Inglés and Toyota. Marcos then joined Grupo ACS as an Analyst in the Corporate Finance Department, where they were responsible for investment analysis, valuation, and financial modeling.

After working at Grupo ACS, Marcos joined Dragados USA, Inc. as a Senior Financial Analyst. In this role, they supervised and coordinated tasks related to corporate finance, M&A, financing, financial modeling, and reporting. Marcos also served as the Finance Manager for the Dragados Group of companies in North America, reporting to the CFO and CEO. Marcos then moved to a new role as the Corporate Finance Manager at Grupo Puentes, where they were responsible for financing, M&A, strategic planning, and business development. Marcos later transitioned to the role of Head of Finance and eventually became the CFO and Director General Financiero.

In addition to their work experience, Marcos also has experience in education. Marcos worked as a Professor at Escuela de Finanzas and served as the Master in Corporate Finance Director. Throughout their career, Marcos has demonstrated a strong understanding of finance, corporate finance, and business development, making him a valuable asset to any organization.

From 1999 to 2004, Marcos attended Universidad Pontificia Comillas and earned a Bachelor's degree in Law. During the same period, from 1999 to 2006, Marcos also completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at the same institution.

In 2013 to 2015, Marcos pursued a Master's degree in Corporate Finance at Universitat de Barcelona.

In 2011 to 2012, Marcos obtained a certificate in Financial Analysis from New York University, with a focus on Corporate Finance.

In 2017, Marcos attended ESCP Business School and completed a Master's Degree in Executive MBA.

Throughout 2017, Marcos also participated in several seminars and programs. These include the Digital Innovation Seminar at Antai College of Economics & Management, a seminar on Doing Business in India at Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, and the Texas Executive Education Program - Leading for Innovation and Growth at Texas McCombs School of Business.

Additionally, Marcos holds two additional certifications. In 2015, they obtained a certificate in New Venture Finance: Startup Funding for Entrepreneurs from University of Maryland - Coursera Verified Certificates. In 2008, Marcos became a member of the Madrid Bar Association through the Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Madrid.
