Andre Fernandes

Andre Fernandes has extensive experience in accounting and financial management, currently serving as the Director of the Shared Services Accounting Department at Grupo Visabeira since January 2006. Key responsibilities include overseeing accounting services, ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal obligations, and coordinating monthly and annual closures. Andre has also held positions such as Head of Invoice Review and Key User in the implementation of the SAP ERP system, where significant process optimizations were made. Prior to returning to Grupo Visabeira, Andre gained valuable experience at ACEEC and Viatel Tecnologias de Comunicação, as well as in financial controlling at Visabras in Brazil. Andre holds a degree in Economics and Finance from Universidade Fernando Pessoa, alongside additional qualifications in Financial Accounting and Corporate Tax Law.
