Fernando Martins

Fernando Martins is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in various leadership and advisory roles across multiple organizations. As Co-Founder and Investor at IZIdrive since March 2021, Fernando is focused on enhancing mobility through innovative products like the IZIdrive wheelchair propulsion system. Additionally, Fernando serves on the boards of several companies, including Matera, ARAXÁ SOLAR, and VR Beneficios, contributing as a Senior Advisor to VR Holding. Fernando's previous positions include Operating Partner roles at Kinea Investimentos and Advent International, and Chairman of the Board at Itatiaia. With a strong academic background, Fernando holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and has completed executive education at prestigious institutions such as the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
