Propulsion Engineer at Gruyère Space Program

Pierre Morin is a skilled engineer specializing in propulsion systems with extensive experience in the aerospace industry. At The Exploration Company since June 2024, Pierre serves as a Functional Propulsion System Engineer, building on a previous role as a Propulsion Engineer at Gruyère Space Program, which began in May 2019. Pierre's notable projects include the development of a regeneratively cooled 1 kN bi-propellant rocket engine and the design, construction, and testing of Switzerland's first student bi-propellant rocket engine, successfully tested over 20 times. Additionally, Pierre contributed to the development of recovery and separation systems for TVC model rockets. Prior to current roles, Pierre was involved with The Exploration Company as a Propulsion Engineer focused on designing test facilities for bi-propellant liquid propulsion systems. Pierre holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from EPFL, obtained in September 2023, and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from EPFL, completed in July 2021.
