Shinyoung Kim

Shinyoung Kim possesses extensive experience in the maritime and petrochemical sectors, currently serving as an Assistant Manager at GS Caltex Corporation since November 2022, specializing in crude oil tanker chartering and operations. Previously, from June 2017 to October 2022, Shinyoung worked as a Tanker Commercial Operator at Sinokor Petrochemical, where responsibilities included operating over ten CPP and DPP vessels, coordinating voyages, liaising with technical managers, managing bunkering arrangements, and analyzing vessel performance against benchmarks. Shinyoung holds a BA in Human Resource Management from Stellenbosch University, completed from 2013 to 2016, and a National Senior Certificate from Cannons Creek Independent High School, obtained from 2010 to 2012.
