Damian O’Brien is an experienced electrician and communications technician with a diverse background in various electrical roles. Currently employed at G&S Engineering Services as an E&I Commissioning Electrician/Communications Technician since July 2021, Damian has previously worked as an A Grade Electrician for Stowe Australia during the redevelopment of the Cairns Convention Centre, and as an EEHA Electrician for multiple companies including Ertech and Harness Energy, where responsibilities encompassed small projects, maintenance, and oil and gas rig support. Other notable positions include Commissioning Electrician roles at Downer EDI Engineering Power Pty Limited and Kentz, as well as work on major projects such as the Ichthys Construction Project and the Gorgon Project as an EEHA Electrician and Fibre Optics Technician.
