Marcel started their career in 1997 as a Business Development Manager at Leadtec Systems Australia until 2003. Since 2003, Marcel has been associated with GS1 Australia, where they have held several managerial positions. Their roles at GS1 Australia include Business Development Executive, Manager of Business Development, Manager of Business Development and Professional Services, General Manager of Sales and Business Development, General Manager of Business Development, General Manager of Industry Engagement, Head of Customer Engagement and Business Development, Chief Customer Officer, and currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer.
Marcel Sieira has a diverse education history. In 1982, they began their academic journey at Instituto Escuela, where they completed their high school education in 1990. Seeking further knowledge in the field of marketing, Marcel attended Victorian Business College in 1993 and obtained a Diploma of Business. Eager for more extensive studies, they continued their education at Monash University from 1994 to 1997 and earned a Bachelor of Business with a focus on marketing.
