Michelle Maenck-Vida

Michelle Maenck-Vida, MIR, serves as the Vice President Industry Relations, ESG at GS1 Canada since August 2019, where responsibilities include the development and execution of an external ESG strategy and building a sustainability community. Previous roles include Chief of Staff at GS1 Canada, strategic advisor to the Executive Leadership Team, and Director of HR Projects at dentalcorp Canada, leading strategic initiatives for over 400 dental practices. Michelle held various HR-focused positions at Walmart and Bank of Montreal, culminating in extensive experience in HR strategy, organizational change, and process improvement. Michelle earned a Master of Industrial Relations from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Western University.
