Currently serving as the Business Management Director at GS1 Canada since May 2019, Nancy holds a strategic role within the office of the EVP for IMS, Technology, and Operations. Concurrently, Nancy is a part-time academic teaching Risk Management for Financial Institutions in the MBA program at Dalhousie University, following a series of teaching assistant positions within the same institution. Nancy's previous roles include principal consultant at Nancy Fijan Consulting Inc., and various leadership positions within Aviva and Bank of Montreal, focusing on human resources and digital transformation. Nancy holds an MBA from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, along with additional certifications in Big Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence.
