David Aguero

David Aguero is a seasoned professional in medication systems and informatics, currently serving as the Director of Medication Systems and Informatics and Program Director of the PGY-2 Pharmacy Informatics Residency at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital since September 2016. In addition to this role, David holds a position on the Executive Leadership Committee at GS1 US and is part of an Expert Panel at the US Pharmacopeia focusing on the exchange of compounded drug preparation information in health IT systems. As an Assistant Professor at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center since June 2017, David contributes to the academic field while previously holding roles such as Pharmacy Supervisor at Inova Health System and Medication Use Systems and Technology Resident at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
