Michelle Covey

Michelle Covey has extensive experience in leadership roles focusing on community engagement, partnerships, and commercialization at GS1 US since May 2013. As Vice President of Community Engagement and other roles, Michelle has driven the implementation of GS1 Standards for various industries, particularly in apparel and general merchandise. Prior to GS1 US, Michelle served as Product Manager at GXS and Inovis, managing product development and strategic initiatives. Michelle began a career at DMSi as a Trainer and Software Installer and has a strong foundation in accounting from Pacific Realty Group. Michelle holds an MBA from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a BS in Plant Science from the University of California, Davis.
