Ryan Richard

Vice President Community Engagement at GS1 US

Ryan Richard has a diverse work history spanning over 20 years. Ryan began their career with Waste Management as a Systems Intern, providing technical support and conducting software installations. From there, they worked at Kraft Foods Group in various roles, including Senior Business Analyst and Senior Manager, where they were responsible for global data synchronization and implementing master data strategies. Ryan then joined Mondelēz International as a Senior Manager, focusing on improving bar code standards and supply chain processes. Most recently, Ryan has been with GS1 US, first as a Senior Director of Industry Development Retail Grocery and currently as the Vice President of Community Engagement. Through their roles, they have gained experience in project management, business process improvement, and industry collaboration.

Ryan Richard obtained their MBA in Leadership & Change Management from DePaul Driehaus College of Business in 2005. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management Information Systems from Marquette University in 1997. Ryan's previous education also includes high school at Brother Rice High School in Chicago.
