Andreas Schmidt

Andreas Schmidt has extensive work experience in various project management roles. Andreas started their career in 2014 as a Bauleitung at WOLF & SOFSKY HOCH-, TIEF- UND STRAßENBAU GMBH & CO. KG. In 2015, they worked as a Bauleitung (Werkstudent) at O2 (Telefónica UK). Andreas then joined GSE in 2017 as a Project Manager, and later progressed to the role of Senior Project Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Project Director at GSE.

Andreas Schmidt has a strong education background in engineering and construction management. Andreas obtained their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft des Saarlandes Saarbrücken, where they studied from 2012 to 2017. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Engineering with a specialization in Construction Management for Civil Engineers at the Hochschule für angewandtes Management, which they completed from 2023 to 2024. In addition to their academic qualifications, Andreas has obtained certifications in Fortbildung Carlifornia.pro from IBS Germany in 2022, and Breeam Neubau AP from TÜV SüD in 2020.
