Alasdair Maclay is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in strategy, development, and investment across multiple sectors. Currently serving as Chief Strategy Officer at GSG Impact since October 2019, Alasdair has also been Co-Founder and Director of Briisk, a global InsurTech company operating in South Africa, Turkey, and the UK since February 2016. Previous roles include Director of Strategy & Development at Rhodes House, where Alasdair focused on partnership development and global expansion for the Rhodes Trust, and Director at Actis, managing private equity fundraising and global power sector investments with an emphasis on Africa's energy sector. Alasdair began their career at Bain & Company and has held various positions in investment management and strategy. Alasdair holds an MBA from INSEAD and a BA in Russian & Czech Literature from the University of Oxford.
