Jonathan Skaggs

Jonathan Skaggs, PG has extensive work experience in the field of geology and geoscience. Jonathan is currently employed at GSI Environmental Inc. as a Principal Geoscientist, a position they have held since January 2024. Prior to this role, they worked at the same company as a Senior Associate Geoscientist from January 2023 to the start of their current position. Before joining GSI Environmental Inc., they were a Senior Geologist at the company from October 2019 to January 2023.

Jonathan's earlier work experience includes roles at Wood, where they served as a Senior Geologist from January 2006 to October 2019. Jonathan also worked at Geomatrix Consultants as a Project Geologist from January 2006 to January 2008, and at LFR as a Senior Project Geologist from September 2003 to December 2005. Prior to these positions, they were an Associate Geologist at Parsons from October 2001 to August 2003.

Throughout their career, Jonathan Skaggs has developed a strong background in geology and geoscience, with a focus on environmental projects.

Jonathan Skaggs, PG obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Geological Sciences with Special Departmental Honors from The University of Texas at Austin in the years 1997 to 2001. Additionally, they acquired a Professional Geoscientist certification from the State of Texas in 2012 and a Professional Geologist certification from the State of California in 2005.
