Jefferson Lanjie Chen is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in technology and finance. Currently serving as Co-founder, Group Chairman, and CEO of Advance Intelligence Group since June 2015, Chen spearheads efforts to leverage big data and artificial intelligence to revolutionize industries throughout the Asia Pacific. As a Partner at GSR Ventures since March 2016, Chen focuses on early-stage investments in high-tech companies across the US and Asia. Previous roles include Fund Manager and Investor at Farallon Capital Management, where investment strategies centered on specific situations and private equity in the Asia-Pacific region, and Investment Banker at Goldman Sachs, specializing in corporate finance transactions across diverse industries. In addition, Chen co-founded Technology & Education: Connecting Cultures and has been recognized with the Fritz Redlich Alumni Award for leadership in international youth collaboration. Academic credentials include an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Tsinghua University.
