Sharon Yaary

Sharon Yaary has extensive experience in program analysis and technical writing, primarily within the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Currently serving as a Program Analyst at Groundswell since August 2025, previously held roles at NOAA as a Management and Program Analyst and Program Analyst from November 2018 to February 2025. Additional positions include Senior and Technical Writer at NOAA and a Senior Technical Writer at ASRC Federal from November 2015 to October 2018. Previous roles span from a Scientific Programmer at MAXIMUS to an Associate Scientific Analyst at Science Systems and Applications, Inc. (SSAI). Sharon holds a Master of Science in Environmental Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies, Political Science, and Visual Arts from Eckerd College.
